I'm so sorry to hear of this, TAG, I know how much you love your animal friends. The hardest part about having pets is that we live longer than they do.
Thanks, George. Yes, our fur-babies are a mixed blessing. I read once about a little boy who comforted his parents over the loss of the pet dog. He told them that we live as long as it takes us to learn how to love completely and unconditionally, and because their dog was so good at it, he was ready to go soon.
I do believe that pets have a less hindered ability to love without complications. So it's no wonder they perfect it within such brief life spans.
